In this first Demonstration Session, audience members are the decision makers. Debaters will each make their case for different approaches to addressing the plastic waste problem with opportunities for the audience to submit questions and counterarguments. The session will appeal to a wide range of attendees, particularly policymakers and plastics innovators and investors.
Organizers: Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, in collaboration with Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America and the Caribbean, Circular Economy Leadership Canada, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Government of Finland, Government of the Netherlands, Natural Resources Canada, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, United Nations Environment Programme, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
