Circular economy leaders and ministerial panelists will discuss the leadership needed in the next 5 years to build on current momentum, strengthen capacity and support emerging partnerships to accelerate the circular transition. In this way, WCEF2021 will build on the work of WCEF+Climate (hosted by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra and the Netherlands in April 2021). As a stage-setting discussion, this session will be of interest to those seeking to raise circular ambition across all regions and scales.
Organizers: Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, in collaboration with the African Circular Economy Alliance, Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America and the Caribbean, Circular Economy Leadership Canada, City of Toronto, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Government of Finland, Nordic Innovation, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
