Tim Brooks is Vice President of Environmental Responsibility and the Sustainable Materials Center at the LEGO Group. Based in Billund, Denmark, he heads a global team responsible for the company’s global environmental responsibility strategy, performance and impact of the LEGO Group’s products. Prior to joining the LEGO Group, Tim worked for Tesco developing new environmental technologies and processes. He has more than 20 years of experience in sustainability with a focus on corporate sustainability strategy with particular knowledge of renewable energy technologies, sustainable buildings and product manufacturing. Tim started his career in sustainable mechanical & electrical engineering with the Building Research Establishment and has worked for engineering consultancies, FTSE 100 companies, the Carbon Trust, and as an environmental policy advisor to the Mayor of London. He is a trustee of a number of environmental charities and was voted by Fast Company as 15th in the 100 most creative people of 2019.
