Project Director, Share Reuse Repair Initiative

Rosemary pivoted her sustainability career in 2013 to focus on catalyzing the transition to a circular economy, emphasizing upstream innovations that design out waste and foster lasting prosperity. She is the Project Director of the Share Reuse Repair Initiative (SRRI), a project of MakeWay (www.sharereuserepair.org), whose mission is to foster a vibrant sharing, reuse and repair sector as a meaningful waste and climate solution that supports circular living and positive business innovation. As part of Sitra’s SHIFT 1.5 community, SRRI developed the SHIFTing Consumer Behaviour Program and co-presented the Lighter Living Motivations with partner One Earth to support the mainstreaming of circular behaviours. SRRI’s Just Circular Transition Program’s aims to enhance the inclusivity of the circular economy. Rosemary has taught the Circular Economy at BCIT’s School of Business since 2014, is a Senior Associate with One Earth and provides consulting services on circular innovation, demand and communications.
