Michael Skaljin is the Manager of Policy & Planning with the City’s Solid Waste Management Services Division. Michael has been working with the City of Toronto for fifteen years in areas related to promote city-building within a climate change context including building greener, stronger neighbourhoods and communities. Michael’s current role focuses on leading the planning and implementation of the City’s Long Term Waste Management Strategy aimed at helping the City to achieve its goals for further waste reduction and moving towards a zero waste future.
