Deita Sylvie Bassono/Yameogo is a sociologist. She has over 20 years of professional experience in development program management and communications. Since 2011, she has been involved in the field of renewable energy by promoting biodigester technology through a market approach. She is a Program Officer for the Programme National de Biodigesteurs du Burkina Faso (PNB-BF). She is also involved in promoting biodigesters in West Africa through her contributions to the work of the Alliance pour le Biodigesteur en Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre (AB/AOC) [Alliance for Biodigesters in West and Central Africa] and through sharing experiences in countries in the sub-region.
