Towards a Mutually Supportive Trade and Circular Economy Agenda

Come examine barriers faced by companies transitioning to a circular economy and the role of international actors in identifying and implementing solutions to these barriers.

Join us for two panel discussions about the solutions that are needed to ensure trade and the circular economy become mutually supportive. First, a business-oriented panel will discuss international trade and circular business models with reference to an upcoming study: Circular Economy and Options for World Trade Organization Negotiations. An institution-oriented panel will then discuss international policy coordination to facilitate the transition to a circular economy.
