After the power sector, heavy industry is the second largest source of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, accounting for 27 percent of CO2 emissions worldwide. Hosted by the Circular Economy for Net-Zero Industry Transition Initiative, this session aims to showcase best practices and strengthen collaboration around innovative circular economy solutions for two heavy industry sectors: the built environment and transportation.
