Prof. Tima Bansal

Pratima (Tima) Bansal is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Business Sustainability at the Ivey Business School at Western University (Ontario). Dr. Bansal has published over 50 peer-reviewed academic journal articles and 2 books on Business and the Natural Environment. She founded and continues to direct the Network for Business Sustainability (nbs.net) and Ivey’s Innovation Learning Lab. These efforts aim to strengthen research and its ties with practice. Tima Chairs the Council of Canadian Academies on the Circular Economy and Vice Chairs the Board of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Education. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a Fellow of the Academy of Management, and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Hamburg. She has been researching business sustainability since graduating from the University of Oxford in 1996.
